The main products developed and commercialized by INEXA over the years are as follows:

(1958 - 1990)

Pyrethrum Extract

Obtained from the extraction of the pyrethrum flowers, for use as an insecticide. We started with a 10-year supply agreement with a US based Fortune 500 company. We selected high yielding lines which we mass propagated by plant tissue culture to rapidly increase productivity.

(1970 – to present)

Bixin and norbixin

Obtained from the extraction of the annatto seeds, for use as food colors. We selected varieties of annatto with the highest bixin content in the world by using the wild germplasm native to the Amazon basin of Ecuador.

(1980-2000)

Synthetic pyrethroids

Derived from the chemical reaction of their primary components, and used as agricultural insecticides. We were sub-licensees of the NRDC of the UK Government.

(1980-2010)

Insecticide formulations

Of natural pyrethrins and synthetic pyrethroids and their synergists.

(1980-2010)

Essential oils of green ginger

Obtained by steam distillation of ginger from our own plantations, for use in soft drinks

(1980-2000)

Flavor concentrates

By agreement with international soft drink brands for supply to bottlers located in the Andean and Latin American Free Trade zones.

(1970 – to present)
